Spanish summers are long, sunny, and often very hot. In a country that normally loves red wine, summer presents a problem: no one wants a big glass of beefy Priorat or Ribera del Duero on a hot day.

Sparkling to Sherry: Spanish Wines for the Holidays
Celebrating with friends and family is what I love best about the holidays. To enhance these celebrations, I think of wines, in this case Spanish wines, that are special and pair well with holiday menus from seafood to lamb, beef to wild game, as well as plates of Iberian jamón or goat´s-milk cheeses.

Almadraba: Spain’s Ancient Fishing Technique
Deep in southern Spain, in the province of Cádiz, spring arrives slowly, timidly, sometime after the drums of Semana Santa die down and before the flamenco and horses and sherry ferias begin. Culinary Tours in Andalucía
Málaga's getting hot as a food destination. We were just down south (in Málaga, Marbella, Sevilla, Jerez…) and we have added some stunning 5-star hotels–including one in a private home in the country–, new tapas bars and Michelin-star restaurants, amazing markets (with eateries right inside the markets), winery visits, cooking classes (our favorite is with a professional restaurant chef), a private visit to the rooftop of the Sevilla Cathedral, private art tours, and more. And the art in Málaga…to die for. Picasso Museum, Pompidou Center, Thyssen Museum, and a branch of the Russian Museum.
