Gerry Dawes is a specialist in Spanish food and wine. He writes and consults extensively on Spanish food and wine, and in 2003 won Spain’s prestigious Premio Nacional de Gastronomía, the coveted National Gastronomy Award. Thirty years of traveling throughout Spain has enabled Gerry to establish a commanding network of culinary professionals–chefs, vintners, artisanal food producers, culinary specialists–giving him an insider’s access to Spain’s gastronomic universe.
Gerry has led a number of food and wine tours to Spain, and past participants include top American chefs, wine clubs and the Culinary Institute of America.
